Also, it guarantees that the applicant will not engage in any act which could be viewed as unethical.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also, the state in which the applicant has applied for a Licence regulates the fees structure. All states have different taxes to pay. It could be a certain range of figures or it could be determined by yearly sales.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Penal Provision For Violation of Trade Licence:-\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If a person starts a business without obtaining a Licence, the government imposes sanctions in form of fees and heavy penalties. It can result in the shutdown of business. It can also result in closure.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the entity is violating provisions of the Licence a specified penalty will be imposed on it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If renewal of Trade Licence is delayed, a penalty of 50% of Licence fee will be imposed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There could be situations in which the defaulter is target of the appropriate legal action.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Consequences of Breach:-\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are some consequences of breach of Trade Licence:-<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once an application has been given a Licence, the applicant shall ensure that legal compliance is followed and maintained.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the applicant is unsuccessful in acquiring Licence, the authorities can place variety of penalties.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If any is launched and continues operating without any required business Licences, fine and charges will be imposed.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Validity :-<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The validity of a Trade Licence which is issued by Municipal Authorities in India is for 1 year and is required to be renewed every year.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Renewal:-<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Licence can be renewed subject to the following conditions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Generally renewed between 1st january to 31 March of the financial year.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Valid for 1 Year<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The candidate shall submit an application for trading Licence in India.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The application could be submitted thirty days before expiration of the certificate<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Documents shall be submitted to the appropriate authority for renewing the certificate.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Procedure:-<\/b><\/h3>\n<h4><b>Submitting the Application:-<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For Registration for Certification of Licence, the applicants require to apply in the applicable state government, corporation or municipality with all the specified registration documents.
